Hello,
This morning I share with you these Algerian Biscuits. Biscuits that you would find on the table of each Algerian in Eid or almost any day of the year. The recipe differs from one person to another and from one area to another, but I have opted for this recipe as it is my grandmother’s.

Ingredients:
8 eggs
1 cup sugar
1 cup oil
1 tbsp Baking powder
1 tbsp vanilla sugar
orange zest
1kg flour
Method:
Mix eggs, sugar and oil. Keep 3 egg yolks for later.
Gradually add flour and baking powder until the dough forms a ball.
Roll out the dough on a floured surface.
Cut out biscuits using a cookie cutter.
Brush with egg yolk.
Sprinkle the centre of each cookie in granulated sugar or coloured.
Place in preheated oven GM5 until the cookies are lightly browned
