Algerian Recipe for Tagine of meat with chickpeas
On the day before of Eid al-Adha, I suggest to you this very easy and very tasty recipe that I call chtitha Lham with Lham, tagine of meat with meat, oh yes no room for fresh vegetables in this tagine lol .. but there are chickpeas instead. Remember to allow for plenty of bread to accompany this tagine as I personally can eat half a baguette of bread with it as it's very nice .. lol

500g Mutton cut into small pieces
1 garlic clove
1 handful chickpeas
Paprika, cumin, cinnamon
Salt and pepper
3 tbsp of oil
In a tagine or pot, brown the meat in oil. Add crushed garlic and spices.
Cover with water, add the chickpeas and cook until the meat is cooked.
The sauce should be reduced.
