Apple compote or puree (recipe here)
Method of preparation:
Roll the puff pastry to 4 mm thick and cut into squares.
Brush with the beaten egg with 1tbsp of water.
Spread a teaspoon of the apple compote on one half of the square.
Make diagonal incisions on the other half.
Fold the dough enclosing the filling
Brush with egg and bake in a preheated oven 200C for about 20min.
Glaze the top of the turnovers with some jam.
